Rubens “Cobrinha” Charles is considered the greatest featherweight competitor in BJJ history. His nickname means “Little Snake” from his capoeira days, reflecting his agility and flexibility. In 2017, he became the first black belt to complete the Super Slam—winning ADCC, Worlds, Pans, Europeans, and Brazilian Nationals in a single year. Known for his aggressive attacking style and legendary guard, he now runs Cobrinha BJJ in Los Angeles.
