Cicero Costha is a 4th degree black belt whose lineage traces back to Rickson Gracie through Marcelo Behring, Waldomiro Perez, Roberto Godoi, and Marco Barbosa. His most celebrated achievement is founding the Projeto Social Lutando Pelo Bem (PSLPB) — a free BJJ program in Sao Paulo that offered jiu-jitsu to underprivileged youth. From this program emerged some of the most decorated competitors in modern BJJ history: Leandro Lo (8x World Champion), the Miyao brothers, and Nicholas Meregali. An IBJJF Hall of Fame honoree, he is one of the most respected and socially impactful coaches in the sport.
