About

Leandro Lo Pereira do Nascimento is widely regarded as one of the greatest BJJ competitors in history. Born on the east side of Sao Paulo, he began training at age 15 through Cicero Costhas free social program PSLPB. He received his black belt in 2010 and went on to win 8 IBJJF World Championships across 5 different weight classes — the most multi-division World titles in the sports history. He developed the Leandro Lo Guard — an innovative hybrid open guard that influenced a generation. Beloved for his humble spirit, Lo founded NS Brotherhood in 2015. He was tragically shot and killed in Sao Paulo on August 7, 2022, at 33 years old. Inducted posthumously into the IBJJF Hall of Fame in 2023. Legends never die.
