Nicholas Meregali is a black belt under Cicero Costha and one of the most dominant heavy and super-heavyweight competitors of his generation. A three-time IBJJF World Champion and ONE Championship Submission Grappling World Champion, Meregali combines exceptional lapel guard work with powerful passing and finishing. He trained at PSLPB alongside Leandro Lo before moving to Gordon Ryans New Wave Jiu-Jitsu academy in Austin, Texas. He is widely recognized as one of the most technically complete heavyweights in modern competitive BJJ.
