Dillon Danis is a black belt under Marcelo Garcia and one of the most prominent personalities in modern BJJ and MMA. A No-Gi Pan American Champion and decorated competitor, Danis trained under Garcia in New York and developed an aggressive guard game with sharp leg lock awareness. He briefly pursued MMA with a 2-0 record before injuries intervened. He became widely known through his role as Conor McGregors grappling coach and cornerman, and through his highly publicized social media presence. His BJJ pedigree under Garcia is legitimate and his competitive credentials genuine.
